A Full Sunday - Unbeliever's Land
...The continuing chronicles...
A Full Sunday
Today, we slept in, did Many Loads of Laundry, and COMPLETELY cleaned the kitchen for the first time in... well, a really really long time.

And we ate food twice, catching up on two episodes of "The 4400" (one per meal).

And now we're winding down, getting ready for bed.

Ah, what a full, rich life we lead.  :)

Dad Update:

After fighting my mom tooth and nail every step of the way and making her feel horrible for forcing him into a temporary stay at a nursing home where he'll be getting physical therapy, he actually really liked his first day.  "If I'd known it was going to be this nice, I wouldn't have resisted."  *SIGH*

I've been a Bad Son and haven't called this weekend, so I have no further news yet.  But once the physical therapy ACTUALLY BEGINS on Monday, my Mom and I fully expect he'll go back to hating it and wanting to leave...

Current Emotional State: blah blah

I'm glad there is some (nominally) good news about your father, but I'm sorry your family has what appears to be an uncomfortable path ahead of it. The more stories like this I hear, the more (relatively) glad I am that my Dad died in the manner he did (if I stipulate that the timing was unavoidable).

You're being thought of.

You are too, Rick. Give Rachal a hug for me, and give her one of James' patented edicts about Not Being Allowed To Have Any More Eye Problems...
