Reed's New Office v0.5
Well, the Vast Heaping Piles of Clutter have been moved out to the living room (what the hell; not like we LIVE there), the basic computer desk has been assembled, put in place, and as of an hour ago or so, my computer's back on it and working.

Was going to assemble the hutch and install it on the desk BEFORE putting the computer up, but alas, halfway through building it I discovered that one of the pieces didn't have all the proper holes drilled -- so I've called up the company and got them to send a replacement piece, but that won't be here for a week, and damned if I'm going to go a week without my beastie.

I've still got LOTS of furniture to assemble and set up before this office is done...

I'm REALLY not in the mood to go to my secular meeting in 45 mins (for which I need to leave in 15). Angela's not feeling well enough to go... and I'm pretty dead from all the physical labor on my office so far. I am simply not in good enough shape to spend hours rolling around on the floor looking for things to screw. ;)

*BUT*, it's a special meeting -- they're actually going to be filming part of a documentary about one of our members -- so... I guess I'll try to get dressed and haul my butt down there and soon as I post this.

How come the world never lets me rest? I've always striven for a simple life, no complications or hassles... but the world is determined not to let me have it. :(

Wish I were rich. Life would be simpler if I were rich...

Ah well. At least the new office will be SWEET once I finally get it all done... :)

I strongly suspect that if you were rich, you'd just have different difficulties and complexities....
