Readable Font Survey
Do other people think my default font has been too small all this time?

Is this size better?  Too large?  Still needs to be larger?

If I wrote pages and pages and pages of long, never-ending rants and commentary in a font this size, would it be easier to read?  Or would you say "Whoa, quit shouting" because it now takes up too much space in your friends list?  I'm trying to make a reasonably-long paragraph here, so just nod your heads for a moment and pretend that what I'm saying is deep and fascinating, just exactly what you would expect from someone intelligent and witty enough to warrant a spot on your friends list.  There, that should just.... about.... do it.

Thanks for your input...  :)

IMO, it should display at the size you want when I read your journal natively, and at the size I want when I'm reading your posts via my f'list. Have you changed it by using <font> tags in the body of the post? Because if you're controlling it from within the S1/S2 customization system, you shouldn't need to override it manually.

I have HORRIBLE eyesight, and I've never had a problem reading your LJ. But I agree, it should be at the size YOU want it to be - and Angela gets a vote too. :)

Re: Eh...

Hehehe -- as part of the "bad eyesight club" I agree with iwannabeaudra. I'd say right now it's too big for my settings.

It's larger than the default font most of my friendspage entries are displayed in, but they're on the small side, in the opinion of my aging eyeballs.

Really, though, as long as it's not teensy, I don't much care, because there's always Mozilla's View >Text Zoom feature.

Previously your posts had been noticeably smaller than other people's posts in my friends view. They'd stood out to me as extra small.

Hmmm, odd. Your new post looks to me to be close to the size of other peoples' posts in my Friends Page View, but when I click on it to read your comments page, I see it's bigger. I use style=mine when I read comments pages, so I don't have to deal with lots of different formats.

Maybe it's my Opera browser (plus my LJ formats) that's been abusing your posts.

I dunno. If it's just me who's getting this odd effect, then just ignore me. ;)
Thank you for thinking about it.

After examining this so closely, now I can see that at least if I'm having trouble with a smallish font from you on my friends page, I should just click through to the comment page. One extra step, but not that bad -- especially if it's just me.
