Positive traction at last...
Sorry about the infrequent updates. I really will try to work on that... :)

A coworker gave me the latest sick bug last week (and I promptly gave it to Angela) -- it lives in the back of my throat and likes nothing more than keeping me permanently blowing my nose and gasping for air... and doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. BLEAH.

The good news is, the Harold estate court date has finally arrived! The house and car will be transferred to their new owners tomorrow, and with any luck, the checks will all go out within a week. Then, it'll just be a matter of paying off the rest of Harold's bills, paying off the rest of OUR bills, and at long last, we'll be able to close the "Harold chapter" of our lives...

The play currently running at Albany Civic Theater is "Goodbye, Charlie". Harold's nickname in the Air Force was Charlie. Sometimes, even we atheists have to laugh at life's little symmetries...

And speaking of atheism, for the past couple of weeks I've been fighting off my usual Christmastime urge to lash out at all things religious. Don't be surprised if my next post is something along those lines... ;)

Congratulations on almost-doneness on the Harold front! (And I hope it's not actually a front with combat. Ideally, it'll just be a sort of hairpiece, perhaps unattractive, but which you can remove....)
