More thoughts re Obama
Many folks are bashing Obama for not being more gung-ho about prosecuting the Bush administration's crimes -- but does it occur to anyone that the only way to GET prosecutions, is to play it exactly as he's doing?

The moment he says "Yes, the Bush team clearly broke the law, and I want hearings!", rightwingers and the media (same thing) will go apeshit, screaming about witch hunts and partisan prosecutions.  They'll manufacture such a circus, that they'll GUARANTEE nothing can be done.

But by quietly saying "I'm not focussed on that, I'm looking towards the future", he allows Congressional Dems and the Justice Department to build the case.  Once the facts are finally settled and the case is made, Obama can apologetically hang his head and sadly announce that yes, Bush & cronies are guilty.

Obama is much smarter than we're accustomed to, in a President.  I think he'll make sure the right thing is done...

I for one don't mind President Obama sitting back and letting the judicial system work ...and I'll be very surprised if the number of criminal prosecutions is zero, after it's all said and done.
